Skeet Shooting World Cup Final (Elite Dubai) was held for the first time under the patronage of HH Sheik Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum in 2005. At the same time, Fazza Championship for men, women and juniors (under the age of 14) also commenced. The rifle (Sekton) was decided by the organizing committee to be the traditional weapon used in this competition.
