UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received the Italian Defence Minister Giampaolo Di Paola and his accompanying delegation at Zabeel Palace today.

Sheikh Mohammed discussed with his guest the bilateral relations and cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Italy especially military cooperation between the armed forces of both countries.

Applauding the wise leadership of the UAE and its balanced political approach at both the regional and international levels, Di Paola expressed his country’s desire to broaden the scope of cooperation with the United Arab Emirates on all aspects.

The meeting was attended by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, National Security Advisor Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a number of sheikhs, ministers and senior officials in addition to the Italian Ambassador to the UAE.
