H.H Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, congratulated His Highness the President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan , and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates and Crown Princes and the people of the United Arab Emirates of the great achievement of the Olympic national team after beating Uzbekistan 3-2 and advancing to the final of the 2012 London Games for the first time in the history of the country.

Shaikh Hamdan also congratulated Shaikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Honourary president of the UAE football association for the great victory over Uzbekistan and the qualification for the Games’ finals.
