UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited the 20th Dubai International Boat Show, at the Dubai International Marine Club, which concludes tomorrow.
Sheikh Mohammed toured the show’s various sections and viewed a number of boats and superyachts on display for the first time form countries from all over the world including the UAE. At the Road and Transport Authority (RTA) pavilion, Sheikh Mohammed was briefed on the various projects launched by RTA such as the Water Taxi, the Water Bus and the Abras.
Noting the large turnout of exhibitors and marine sport enthusiasts that exceeded 25.000, Sheikh Mohammed commended the show’s continues quantitative and qualitative growth over the years, stressing that it highlights the UAE’s heritage and its deep attachment to the sea, which was and will continue to be an essential source of living to the people in the UAE and the Gulf.
On his part, Executive Chairman of Dubai World Trade Centre Hilal Saeed Al Murri expressed deep appreciation to UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his continues support and wise directives that have lead to developing and boasting the UAE’s national economy. Al Murri also stated that more than 750 companies have participated in the event from 46 different countries, and that featured yachts valued Dh960 million.
Accompanying Sheikh Mohammed on his tour were by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ajman Crown Prince Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi and a number of senior officials.
